Oh my gosh, you guys! We are so excited to announce the 2nd Annual PICNICS + FLOWERS event, a pop-up partnership with the Carlsbad Flower Fields this spring!!
We’ll be popping up at one of the most fabulous places in San Diego (maybe the world?!) overlooking millions of blooming ranunculus flowers!
It’s a limited engagement event, lasting only 8 weeks while the flowers are in bloom. There’s a small window when you can catch this amazing natural showcase of color and beauty and we have front row tickets for you!
The picnic experience combines the best parts of Pop Up Picnic Co (food, drinks, ambiance) with 180° views of millions of flowers and the ocean beyond.
We would love to host you and your guests this spring!
We’ll be there on Saturdays and Sundays from March 23 to May 23 for lunch reservations. Tickets are $140/person, kids are 50% off!

Immerse yourself in a flower fantasy at the 2nd Annual! PICNICS + FLOWERS pop-up picnic experience at The Flower Fields!
San Diego favorite, Pop Up Picnic Co® has partnered with world-famous, The Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch® to create the quintessential springtime experience: a luxury picnic atop fields of millions of blooming ranunculus!
Treat yourself to a farm-to-table inspired lunch and a beautifully styled picture-perfect picnic overlooking the flower fields and ocean beyond. Each picnic is a 60 minute reservation and includes a 4 course, pre-fixe meal complete with tea sandwiches, seasonal salads, shared charcuterie and dessert. Handmade aguas frescas, and infused waters will be served to drink. Picnic seating is either low tables + pillows or farm tables + bistro chairs. Table + chair seating will be prioritized for guests with accessibility limitations. Please note any accessibility (and assistance) requirements when booking.
Tickets include entrance to The Flower Fields and all it offers: wagon rides, sweet pea maze, gorgeous gardens and more! PLUS! New for this year, we have a private parking area + entry for you and your guests so coming to the fields will be a breeze! Come for lunch and stay for the afternoon! The bloom is happening now! How it works:
Dates: Saturdays + Sundays from March 23- May 12
March: 23- 24; 30- 31
April: 6-7; 13-14; 20-21; 27-28
May: 4-5; 11-12
Times: 11:00, 11:15, 11:30, 12:15, 12:30, 12:45
Lunch reservations start at 11:00 am and seat every 15 minutes until 12:45pm.
Your reservation is 60 minutes.
We ask that all guests arrive no more than 30 minutes early and be ready to be seated at their reservation time!
Guests will be treated to fresh food, inspired decor and live music! Dedicated staff members will be on-hand to assist with check-in, service + answer any questions you may have :)
